Vance Thompson Vision
What’s the first thing you remember seeing? Maybe it’s the house you grew up in, a childhood toy, or your mother’s loving face.
For some, it’s an Acts of Nature photograph.
Vance Thompson Vision understands the importance of the art in its office; for many patients, it’s one of the first things that finally comes into focus after vision correction. “Our patients are keenly aware of their visuals surroundings,” says business manager Matt Jensen. “For many, a visit to our office will be the first time they see clearly. And what’s better to focus on than the crisp, colorful petals of a flower or a landscape at sunset?”
Not only do patients appreciate the visual stimulation in the office, but also the relaxing mood created by the artwork. “Acts of Nature photography puts our patients at ease and calms them throughout the entire vision correction process,” says Jensen. “And when things come into focus, our patients see exactly what they enjoy most about their vision – the wonders of nature.”
DAKOTACARE
When DAKOTACARE remodeled its new office space, the staff knew it was looking for artwork that would reflect the spirit of the organization – a company with South Dakota roots and a strong spirit.
Acts of Nature was a perfect fit.
“After reviewing the art, we decided to use Acts of Nature throughout the entire building,” says Kirk Zimmer, chief operating officer. “Our employees, owners and customers are thrilled with the way it turned out and proud to be surrounded by the beauty of our state. When we welcome guests and business associates from other parts of the country, they inevitably comment on the beautiful artwork, especially those who are first-time visitors to South Dakota.”
Zimmer adds that the real beauty of working with Acts of Nature wasn’t just in the photographs. “The entire process was great, from selecting the artwork to installation, and the Acts of Nature staff was very professional and pleasant to work with. They helped us capture the beauty of South Dakota, adding to the pride we take in our work and our state.”

Legal matters are serious business. That’s why the law office of Johnson, Heidepriem, Janklow, Abdallah & Johnson, LLP, needed the right balance of art to create a space that’s comfortable and engaging for clients yet refined and professional.
Attorney Scott Abdallah believes Acts of Nature photo installations help preserve this balance. “We love our Acts of Nature artwork because it serves as a helpful tool to break the ice with new attorneys and clients who are visiting our building for the first time. It’s an instant conversation piece and puts clients at ease so we can do business better.”
The firm’s favorite piece is a highlight in one of the main conference rooms – and a highlight of the Sioux Falls landscape. “Almost without exception, visitors to our law firm are drawn to the incredible photograph of the Big Sioux River in our conference room,” says Abdallah. “It always leads to further discussion about the interesting landscape and river outside our office windows.”

The advisors at Garry Associates are experts on financial planning and estate preservation. Their clients’ investments represent their hopes, dreams and plans for the future. And no décor complements these dreams better than Acts of Nature fine art photography.
“The relationship we have with our clients and the impression we first make to future clients is so important to us,” says Steve Garry, who began the firm’s Sioux Falls office over 30 years ago. “Paul's images reflect places we've traveled to – and others we hope to – with brilliant and vivid colors.”
“Most of all,” adds Garry, “the images Paul brings to print make us feel good. He's captured the seasons of South Dakota, and these stunning images remind us just how engaging the natural beauty of our area truly is.”
Such beauty makes for a pleasant office environment, not to mention one that provides the comfort and security you’d expect from a respected financial firm.
