Works In Progress

Since the beginning, Acts of Nature® has stood for beautiful and engaging photography. From the rolling landscapes of South Dakota to the scenic beaches of Sanibel Island, Paul and Koni share a commitment to capture nature at its finest.
During the summer, Paul will explore the vast territories of South Dakota for the South Dakota Department of Tourism. Places like the wide-open prairies and the majestic Black Hills will be subjects during his journey across the state. Eventually, these works will appear in national advertising, drawing millions to the prairies, glacial lakes, Badlands and Black Hills of South Dakota.
Paul has the opportunity to travel with a local weather crew from KELO-TV while they track storms across the area. The tumultuous and unpredictable weather of South Dakota has been a favored subject for Paul’s photography.
One of the largest publicly owned bison herds is driven through Custer State Park in the Black Hills at the Buffalo Roundup. This fall, Paul will attend with his camera to capture all of the dramatic action.
The University of South Dakota in Vermillion will honor Paul by featuring over 30 photos in a permanent display in the Al Neuharth Center. A 1969 USD journalism and art alum, Paul is honored by the opportunity. More details are coming soon.
